Privacy notice

How we handle your information.

Who is responsible. Dr Travis Brooks, trading as Medic Admissions, is responsible for the personal information collected through this site. Our controller and business contact address is 5 Graces Field, Stroud, GL5 4EN. See our business details. For a privacy question or a request about your information, email enquiries@medicadmissions.co.uk. You can also use the enquiry form, choose “Other” and mark your message “Privacy”.

What we collect and why. We collect the name, email address, applicant type, intended entry year, any optional university choices and message you provide. We use these to answer enquiries and discuss or arrange requested support. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract; for general questions or enquiries made on someone else’s behalf, it is our legitimate interest in responding and providing relevant support. Providing these details is voluntary, but we need a name, valid email and enough information to reply. Please avoid sending health information, identity documents or unnecessary details about another person.

Security. We use technical request information, including network addresses, to protect the enquiry service against abuse. Short-lived rate-limit counters use keyed hashes rather than storing raw addresses in our application. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the site and email service available. The enquiry application does not retain a separate database of messages.

Who handles the information. Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. Brevo sends enquiry notifications, which are received and handled in our Google email inbox. These providers process information needed to provide their services; their infrastructure and support may operate outside the UK. Brevo reports that its databases are hosted within the EU. Retention and your choices. We aim to delete enquiries that do not lead to a service within 12 months of our last contact. If you become a client, relevant service and financial records may need to be kept longer; we will explain that when arranging the service. Provider logs and backups follow their own retention arrangements. We do not sell enquiry details, add you to marketing lists or make automated admissions decisions.

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us at enquiries@medicadmissions.co.uk or through the enquiry form. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies. This page uses no advertising analytics, marketing cookies or browser storage. Hosting and security services may use essential technical information; the protected review copy also uses sign-in cookies. Last updated: 15 October 2026.
